WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK WITH TIDE UP BOAT RENTALS

We require a 20% mandatory tip for your captain as they ensure you have a safe and enjoyable trip! You can venmo or pay your captain’s tip in cash. If you do not have the correct form of payment or neglect this step, the card on file will be charged after your trip.
We strongly recommend using rideshare but parking is available at the pickup location. Travis County Parks do require a $5 per person park fee for all patrons even if you are being dropped off. The parks require this fee to be paid in cash and it is about $5 a person to enter but county fees may vary.
We highly encourage all customers to board at the standard pickup locations listed below. We accommodate custom pick ups on a case by case basis, but this is not guaranteed and is dependent on our staff and daily schedule. Please contact us well in advance if you are interested in this option. If we are able to pick you up from a custom location a mandatory $100 travel fee must be paid in advance.

Standard Pickup Locations:

For our Lake Austin guests you can board at the loop 360 boat ramp. 5019 N Capital of Texas Hwy, Austin, TX 78746. Your boat will be ready and waiting for you.

For Lake Travis, guests will board at 4370 Mansfield Dam Park Rd., Austin, TX 78732.
I certainly wish we could control the weather. Since we can’t, we don’t expect you to either. In case of bad weather, if we can’t get you out on the water you will receive a full credit towards your next booking.
WEEKDAY CANCELLATION POLICY (Monday-Thursday): Less than 48 hours will result in loss of full rental amount.

WEEKEND CANCELLATION POLICY: $200 minimum cancellation fee charged for reservations canceled without at least 14 days notice. Less than 48-hour cancellation notice you will be liable for the full rental amount.

HOLIDAY CANCELLATION POLICY: $200 minimum charge on ANY cancellations. Less than 48 hours cancellation notice you will be liable for the full rental amount.

BARGE CRAWL CANCELLATION POLICY:

If you need to cancel you must contact us at least 24 hours prior to the event. All tickets are nonrefundable but can be exchanged for a ticket on another date of your choosing where space is available or used as credit towards any of our boat rentals. Please pay close attention to the pickup location and instructions in this email and contact us if you are running late. We will do our best to make arrangements with you but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate late parties due to respect for other guests. No refunds or reimbursement will be provided for no shows, if you are late or if you arrive at the wrong pickup location.

Drink specials, live music any any special events are managed by each restaurant individually. Please reach out to the restaurants directly for inquiries about drink specials and live music during your BARge crawl. We cannot guarantee they will be offered on your specific reservation date and cannot provide any refunds for this.

If you are inquiring about a refund, please view our cancellation policy. Note: Refunds occur at the discretion of management and the maximum refund allowed for any experience taken by the customer is $250. Management does not deal with escalations over the weekend.
You are responsible for any damage caused to the boat by you or your other passengers.
Our boats are a little bit scared of the dark, so we try to have them tucked in before nightfall.

Currently we are not equipped to tow anything behind our boats. Check back with us soon, however, because it’s near on the horizon!
We realize that life happens. Because we have trips scheduled throughout the day, though, we have to run a tight ship (pun intended).

Private Rentals:We’ll do our best to shift your trip as long as there is no one scheduled behind you. There will be, however, an additional $25 charge for each half hour that you’re late to make sure that we take care of our captains.

Ticketed experiences: We cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate late parties due to respect for other guests. No refunds or reimbursement will be provided for no shows, if you are late an unable to make your rental or if you arrive at the wrong pickup location.
We do not allow pets or animals on the boat.
